DotM.Html5 1.0

After downloading and installing DotM.HTML5, You need to do the following steps to be able to use HTML5 controls for ASP.NET:

1. Add a reference to your ASP.NET 4 Web Application or Website

  • from the following location: [InstallationPath]\Bin\DotM.Html5.dll
  • or from ".NET" tab of "add reference" dialog in visual studio with name: "Html5". (This feature is available if you have installed using Installer1.0.3 or later)

2. Open your web.config file
3. Navigate to "configuration\system.web\pages\controls".
if the path does not exist, create a <pages><controls></controls></pages> tag inside "configuration\system.web".
4. Inside controls tag, write the following:

<add assembly="DotM.Html5, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=cf15bd0a8dbc673d, processorArchitecture=MSIL" namespace="DotM.Html5.WebControls" tagPrefix="html5" />

5. Now inside your web pages and user controls, you can add controls from HTML5 library using html5 prefix. For example:

<html5:Nav runat="server" > ... </html5:Nav>

For using controls, you can refer to documentation located at [InstallationDirectory]\Documentation

when adding any control it appears as text type. I go to view source of the page
<input name="DateTimeLocalInput1" type="text" id="DateTimeLocalInput1" type="datetime-local" />

http://dotm.ir/Html5/Doc is not working. There is no documentation folder in the project folder. Please post a new path to the control documentation
